The property includes features such as air conditioning and pet-friendly policies, making it suitable for a variety of guests.

The motel functions not only as lodging but also includes an RV park, though reviews indicate some concerns regarding the cleanliness and setup of the RV area. Guests have noted that the parking lots are well-lit for safety, yet the streetlights may affect light-sensitive travelers. RV PARK: There's a bad gap between the road & rv lot if you take the first entrance. If possible, take the second entrance. Had a good stay! Nice and quiet. Friendly staff. Wifi is available if you sit near the office. (There are benches.) The bright streetlights in the parking lot are probably good for safety but were a little annoying coming through the skylight of our rig. There are several minimarts in walking distance and you can purchase limited adult beverage supplies at the local bar.

Well... could be a 5 star!!!....but... rv park not clean, not open, and not friendly... drove to Datil Wells Campground and had a great stay and hike. We will return to area and hope to have a different experience. Stay positive. Good vibes here.

Western Motel on historic Route 66 .This cute little spot was perfect location on our drive on the 60/ Route 66. Very clean, and had coffee maker with real coffee mugs to use, wifi, microwave and fridge. Wood thru out interior, much like a cabin with cute quilts on the bed. Never saw management, it was all handled by phone. Keyless entry. We were the ONLY guests and without any staff on property it felt odd, yet quiet. Road is right there but no traffic during the night. Nothing in business open nearby other than gas stations. My only worry was there were zero lights on the property at night other than motion sensing lights. So the entire building was dark, and looked uninhabited. I finally found a switch for a front door light only to our room. If it were not for a street light a few yards down there was zero light at this motel. I felt safe enough, yet just made it seem abandoned. So for some, this may not have been comfortable as a solo guest.

Last minute arrangement. They let me park my semi truck and trailer on their property and were very accommodating. The rooms are comfortable with cable TV and commodities. To the other negative reviewers if you have Ritz caralton hotel expectations; be prepared to spend 400 a night. This place is a good place to spend the night, nothing fancy just a family ran hotel that treats you like one of their own. I would stay again.

Very clean, rustic, comfortable and wonderfully quiet. The owner had us feeling like family in minutes. Comfy beds...first time the hubby slept the night through - for four nights! Lots of Forest Service employees stay here and return regularly. It is small, so call ahead to make certain they have room. They get booked fast during festival weeks. Looking forward to returning next season.

You've gotta like small town nonchain motels to like this quaint little place. Stopped on a whim for two nights so I could visit the nearby Very Large Array radio telescope, and it's been very comfortable for a good price. Have a double room - basically a separate kitchen with microwave, fridge, toaster oven, and coffee pot and large table to spread stuff out on. Been travelling for weeks, and I'm as pleased with this as anyplace I've stayed.

We discovered this quaint motel on our trip across the country. The owner was super friendly and very accommodating. After being unprecedentedly hot, we came on a night when it was chilly and they hadn’t turned on the heat yet. The owner personally delivered a heater and ice to our room. We stayed in #12-The Hunters room. It was clean with plenty of toiletries to fit our needs and then some. The best part was the price. After staying in hotels for 16 nights at a price of $100+, we were a bit shocked when she said the price was $75. If in the area again, we will definitely return. We appreciate the nice clean room and the hospitality.

Wifi service is almost nonexistent. For us the beds were hard I was hurting when I got up. Very clean rooms and decorated Very Nicely. Different themes for each room. History is interesting of the converted maternity home.
